In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we're introducing you to some of Texas' incredible Latina entrepreneurs. Meet Birdiebmaed!
BT: Handmade polymer clay earrings. My target audience is anyone who wants to express themselves, feel beautiful and boosted.
BT: I am a full-time college student chasing the dream of receiving my BSN and becoming a nurse. I also work full-time at a brewery (Rollertown Beerworks)! There’s a lot on my plate, but I find joy in creating and crafting (especially with my friends). That’s how I found out I wasn’t so bad at making polymer clay earrings during the covid lockdown. I actually have to thank the fact that I was laid off from my old job because I wouldn’t have ever known I was actually good at crafting! Once I discovered my hidden talent I had to build the courage to show the world. I’m a very timid person so it took a lot of convincing and building myself up. Many months later, I finally had the courage to make a business page on Instagram and the amount of support I have received has been phenomenal.
BT: My inspiration is honestly other woman-owned businesses. The strength and courage they project inspires me. I only hope and strive to be like that!
BT: I would like to see more growth within myself and my business. I’m learning as I go which can be hard but am hoping to be better all around.
